divergent spectrum – the bass has droppedPosted on August 2, 2011
I don’t know where to begin with this album. It just makes sense. I’m not sure how else to say it. It might be that I’ve been waiting for this album because I’ve heard the tracks mixed live, but the beats are solid, the bass is there. This is what Bassnectar is, pure and simple.
I’ve been on Bass Binge the last week at work. I try and mix my tunes up, but Bassnectar is always in one the playlist I’m listening to. He just appears, I swear 🙂
I really don’t want to make this too long. I’m not a reviewer of albums in depth. The music speaks for itself. It is an ethereal mix of hard and soft sounds. If I could pick three songs off the album that you must hear they would be:
1. The Matrix
3. Plugged In – Rollz (Bassnectar Remix) One of my favorite remixes. ever.

And go to a show. It’s just not the same if you can’t physically feel the bass in your heart.
